“You’re a fizzler” - Jen Chey (Mentor and friend)

I am what my mentor calls a fizzler. I get so excited for one thing and die it out at the end. I mean look at my journal entries about finding a different job and looking into real estate. Like seriously, I haven’t touched that subject for a long time. This is unfortunately the pattern of my spiritual walk with God. The challenge that I’m facing in all aspects in my life is to PACE myself.

Yesterday I was thinking about owning a sewing machine so I could make my own cute dresses. At the end of the day I was thinking I could make 20 dresses in a week if I just had that machine. To be quite honest, if I did have one, I wouldn’t know where to start or how to even use the dang thing. So, I decided that in order to get myself a sewing machine, I will one, save money for one and two save money to take a class. From the looks of things, I might be able to do this thing by April. I will take my time!

I just hope its not a fizzling idea.

Same thing is going on for exercising. I started off Sunday by going on the elliptical and taking a swim. Total amount of time at the gym was a whole hour. (yay for me)

Tuesday I went to take a zumba class with Jen and man he was a regiment!

Today, I’m wanting to take another zumba class in santa fe springs, but will see if Jason needs my help to set up his new office.

Tomorrow, I’m thinking about taking a turbo kick or a cycling class.

I’m so hyped, but I need to remind myself that I need to PACE!

So, my mind is hitting 50 different things. Here’s the summary:
1. Work on my spiritual walk with God: The plan is to journal everyday and reflect a chapter in Proverbs. 31 proverbs, 31 days. YOU CAN DO THIS ANNIE!

2. Workout at LEAST 3 times a week: PACE YOURSELF! Record the time that I do go, share my experiences.

3. Pay off credit card and save money for sewing classes: I have 3-4 weeks until my credit card is paid and I can start saving. Once I’m out of debt, start saving cash in a secret stash unknown to man!!!

4. Keep a food journal: Record what I will be making, eating, and learn to portion things right!

So, first things first…I will start my devotions today, but I will start writing in my hard copy journal by tomorrow. I have less than 30 minutes, but I can do this.

I hope I can accomplish these goals by this year. It’s not much, but I think I can do this.

Remember…pacing is key!
